Summary
“The compass,” he starts. “It’s been moving differently. It doesn’t work as well anymore.”
Niklaus leans forward greedily. “Where is it pointing to?”
Chip stays silent.
“Let me rephrase myself,” says Niklaus. “Who is it pointing to?”
A coral crown, a wide grin, the arc of a broadsword slicing through air—
“Gill,” Chip rasps out, fingernails digging white crescents into the backs of his hands. “It’s pointing to Gillion.”-
Caught at the crossroads of desire, Chip has his mind set on finding the Black Rose pirates. But his heart tells a different story, and when he’s trapped in a time loop that resets upon Gillion's death, he’ll be forced to reckon with his own feelings — one way or another.

Summary
As it turns out, no one ever taught Luke how to tie a little green baby to his back one-handed, but Luke thinks he's pretty gods-damned good at problem-solving under pressure, thank you, and the baby is at least semi-cooperative. When he's sure the kid is strapped in as tight as he can get, Luke pauses, and reaches back. His fingers graze the wide point of the baby's fuzzy ear. "Well, kid," says Luke, and his voice is a little rough, but not bad, all things considered. "Carrying you on my back while getting the absolute banthashit kicked out of me, at least this feels familiar."
The baby coos in his ear, and then kicks him hard in the kidney. Yoda used to do the exact same thing. Somehow, it's a lot more endearing now.
Or: Luke Skywalker solves a number of life-or-death problems, makes some new friends, falls abruptly in love, and gets shot into space, all in the same day.

Summary
Luke could hear some of Yavin 4's creatures far off in the jungle, as well as the familiar sounds of the flight hangar in the distance. There was no alarm felt about the new arrival, though, he knew it was Din. Home at last.

Summary
It is by complete accident that Din even sees the poster. He's sat outside a restaurant on his bike, hanging low on the handlebars, scrolling through his phone when a piece of slightly-sodden paper adheres itself to his helmet.
'Martial Arts for Toddlers', the page advertises. 'A great way for any child to learn self-defence, meditation, physical and social development, or to let off some energy!'

Summary
“Let’s say I do have resources on Skywalker,” Boba began. “Even if I give his coordinates to you, even if you get to meet him, the Jedi are persistent in their code. Skywalker will only turn you away.”
“Let’s say none of this is your business and I’m doing this on my violation,” Din said, causing Boba to arch his eyebrows in surprise. “Let’s say I know the consequences of me going to wherever Skywalker and Grogu are, but let’s say, for the moment, that something in my gut tells me that I should go find them.”
Fennec furrowed her brows. “You’re willing to risk your kid’s training for a gut feeling?”
Din couldn’t expect this to happen. All he wanted was to make sure Grogu was in safe hands.
Maker, help him, all he could think of was the Jedi who now held his heart.
