Summary
The person standing at the end of his bed was… him.
“What the fuck?” Sid whispered.
The older version of himself gave a dry chuckle and said, “Hey, bud. I think that I’m here to give you some advice about Geno.”
OR: over 10K of Sid-in-his-thirties helping still-new-to-the-NHL-Sid get comfortable with some new developments in his relationship with Geno. In more ways than one.

Summary
Geno rides in the cramped back seat with his bag beside him and his knees pressed tight against the seatback in front of him. It’s like being on the plane all over again.
His mother is twisted around in her seat to look back at him, eyes still a little red from her tears but her face absolutely lit up as she talks about their plans for the week, all the things they’ll do and the food they’ll make. Geno’s father occasionally will chime in, but it’s mostly Natalia who is running the show and Geno’s head is spinning. Their weekly chats are never this intense and this is the most Russian he’s heard in ages.Bookmarked by Pachi80

Summary
The last straw is Nealsy.
Well, if he’s being honest, the last straw is Johnston refusing to play Hornqvist on his fucking line. But he doesn’t like being honest, not about this, not just yet.
So for all intents and purposes, the last straw is Nealsy.
"I’m want a trade."

Summary
Evgeni Malkin, age 30, was found dead in his Sewickley home on August 23rd, just weeks before the start of his 11th season in the NHL. The Russian hockey player of the two time Stanley Cup champion Pittsburgh Penguins was found to have overdosed on over the counter medications. An autopsy report is still being conducted but as of right now, the case is being viewed as a suicide. Neither the Penguins organization or players, including Captain Sidney Crosby, a 'close friend', have elected to comment on the tragedy.
