Summary
Órlaith (pronounced Or-lah), daughter of Finan and Eadith, has spent most of her childhood in Bebbanburg. Now, at 16, she yearns to follow in her father's footsteps and to see the England that those who raised her have spent their lives trying to establish. However, Scottish invasions from the North will threaten not only England, but life as Órlaith knows it.
Note: In my head, this is an extension of my "Finding Each Other" fic. However, you by no means need to read it in order to follow Órlaith's story.

Summary
In Chapter 5 of my fic, "Finding Each Other," Finan prays: “Lord, I don’t deserve her but please let me spend every day of eternity trying to prove myself worthy.” This is the realization of that prayer.
In this AU, Finan and Edith (modern spelling) meet at at BLM protest in Oxford, amidst the pandemic.
note: reading my other Eadith/Finan fic is not necessary, although I did include some small nods to it in here.

“We need him alive, she—“
“Is right here,” Pym says, picking up her bag. She concentrates on the amulet, “and doesn’t need to be spoken for,” she looks at Arthur and sees him wavering, “I’m better than no healer.”
After everything Pym has faced down, Squirrel bringing the Weeping Monk to her isn't something she was prepared to deal with. As in all things, she adjusts.

Summary

Finan has been out of slavery for many years now. His life is made of battles, ales and women until his dearest childhood friend walks in during King Edward's Witan. And now, a past he has burried and tried so hard to forget was catching up to him.
