Number 19’s new occupant has the voice of an angel.
Or some sort of superlative like that, Seokjin thought when the new guy moved in and spent the entire day with the radio on, singing along to every song as if it was written for him. Note perfect, pitch perfect and with a lilt that gives it soul.
Annoying, Seokjin had called it after the first two hours.
(Seokjin just takes time to warm up to people, that's all. Six months later? Well, maybe he'll feel different about it then).

He wasn't useless though, he'd found that he could still help if he was careful, if he talked to the servants or worked around the power structure to offer comfort from the shadows. His brother hated it, and him to be honest, but Yoongi didn't mind. He just wanted to make sure his brother was okay.

2) Yoongi tells Seokjin over and over that he loves him.Seokjin has been hearing this since he was twenty-two, so he doesn't really take it seriously, especially since Yoongi never remembers. It never occurred to him that Yoongi meant it.

Summary

All of this in exchange for Yoongi's companionship, a good chat, and other activities that don’t really require words.
It would be a win-win situation if after every encounter, it didn’t get harder for Yoongi to get his own mind tricks, the ones he uses to avoid developing feelings, to work on himself.
