Summary
A trigger object is any item deliberately placed inside a haunted location to encourage paranormal activity. Toys are among the most commonly used, particularly in locations connected to children, as investigators believe familiar objects may encourage interaction.
"The right object can change an entire investigation."
Thursday afternoons had a habit of slipping away from San.
He didn't know it yet, but his life had just split neatly into two parts.
Before he met Jung Wooyoung.
And after.
☆
Or,
San has spent years quietly crushing on Beyond the Veil's charismatic ghost hunter, Jung Wooyoung, from the safety of a phone screen.
When Seonghwa unexpectedly wins the channel's annual subscriber investigation, San finds himself spending a night inside one of South Korea's most haunted abandoned children's homes alongside Wooyoung and Hongjoong.
The only problem?
San believes the building is haunted.
Seonghwa doesn't believe in ghosts.
Wooyoung doesn't believe San can survive the night without clinging to him.
And whatever is waiting inside the orphanage seems far more interested in San than anyone else.
