Summary
After a decade as a reclusive wizard's apprentice, Vaana's life as she knows it is ended in fire and a mind flayer pod. Crashed on the Sword Coast with a tadpole in her head she has little to offer any prospective allies, least of all reliable magic. But when her life is on the line her pact for protection is simple: let her stay and she will be so quiet they might forget she's there. It's a good plan, until guilt sets in and a secret attempt to be useful draws the attention of the local camp wizard.
