Roger seems like he’s 100% serious when he continues, “How ‘bout we team up- and turn this whole world upside-down?!”OR: Prequel to “Sail with Me” that tells how Gol D. Roger and Silvers Rayleigh met, fell in love, became unplanned surrogate parents to Shanks, and all the adventures in between.

Summary
Growing up and basically raising yourself on the streets was no easy task, but Buggy managed. He’d had no choice and had to grow up fast to survive. It definitely wasn’t the sort of life he desired, and he held a significant distaste for the kids walking hand in hand with their families through the busy seaside city, asking and receiving anything they wished for. Their faces had a healthy glow, their bellies were full, and they knew nothing of the cold loneliness that came with barely getting by on the streets. He tried to avoid watching them as they passed by, not one even acknowledging the small, emaciated boy's existence.
Buggy had never had a family... until one day he runs into another boy his age and is introduced to the Roger Pirate crew. It was with them that his life would be changed forever.
