Eight years after Jyn walks out of Cassian's life, they meet again in an elevator. Cassian can handle the thirty seconds, maybe a minute, until they get to the ground floor. If he closes his eyes tight enough, he can pretend she's not even there.
So, of course, the elevator has to break down.
(Or: the one where Jyn and Cassian have to hash out eight years of angst and UST in an elevator.)
