Sam Wesson lives in a world where people considered lower in society are legally able to be taken by men and women that are considered higher standard in this life. Sometimes it's willing, sometimes it isn't.
Sam much to his dismay, hasn't had the luck of a nicer living. He works as an underpaid, overqualified IT guy in Sandover, barely making it through the days. He's used to his life, nothing new and nothing drastic happens, and he's okay with that. things don't need to be changed. No matter how much he's starting to struggle with the new inflation of everything.
Yet change still comes, and it comes with frilly green ribbon covered gift baskets and cheesy words on post it notes.
