AU in which the Master joins the Doctor on the quest for the Key to Time instead of Romana. During their mission, they rekindle the very old flame between them - all while solving various questions concerning the ancient dilemmas of their relationship, the Master’s lack of regenerations and the exact nature of the threat the Key is meant to prevent.
