Summary
Dudley has been stressed at work. Honestly, things just haven't been going well for him lately. He's a manager/part-owner at his Dad's drill company, who has been retired some four years. He lives as mundane an existence as his parents could have wished for him, but he's lonely, stress eating and just feels a bit like a bug trapped in a manilla envelope. Of course our bodies have a way of telling us when something is wrong - especially if a bit of dodgy transfiguration cast on you years ago was never actually reversed, with merely the symptoms dealt with. Somehow, Dudley doubts that the muggle doctor who removed the pigs tail all those years ago will be able to help him now, assuming he wants to keep his hands and feet. And ears. And whatever else the latent side effects are going to mess with.
The only one he knows who can help him now is Harry, but it's been years. Never the best of friends, he'll just have to keep his big hoof out of his mouth long enough to beg assistance. If he manages to contact him. And if Harry will help him. Maybe take him to some kind of wizarding hospital for magical maladies...hold his...hoof through the experience, and just generally be kinder about the whole thing than Dudley deserves.
