The PJO characters read the books.

(Hi! To be honest I LOVE these reading-the-books fics, and I can never find complete ones that are actively appealing to me, so I decided to take it upon myself to write mine)

This is very heavily inspired by FlameLovesGreekMythology’s reading-the-books fic. I suggest you go check it out!

Hades turned to the demigods that were still kneeling.

“I need to speak with Will Solace,” he said to the shocked room, in the tone he could have used to say “I came to ask if one of you could lend me a pen.”

“Alone,” the god added after a moment, staring right at Nico.

Or, Will and Nico go on the stupidest quest ever. And it’s all Apollo’s fault.

He really didn’t understand why Grover had suggested this and why Annabeth had so readily agreed: the quest for Ganymede’s cup had been easy enough.
The one on account of Kymopoleia had been more of a pain in the ass (seriously, couldn’t that woman calm down?) but still, he’d rather save one more thousand baby sea monsters than ask Apollo for a favour.
    And yet, here he was.

    Summary

The Fates decided that while the Gods of Olympus may have seen Percy's feats, the Seven's efforts, and Apollo's dramatic struggling, they do not truly know just how dangerous and stressful those...accomplishments were. And neither do most demigods.

The solution? Make them read. Every last thought and wish and experience from their kids' perspective. Make them understand just how painstakingly difficult it was to be the ones on the quests that the Gods seem to throw out like prizes.

    That's right.

It's a reading the books fic.

(Severely slow to update; I am so sorry guys. It is never abandoned, though. The day I abandon a story is the day the world ends.)
