    A young, pre-Batman Jason Todd happens to stumble upon a small child abandoned in a dark, underground fortress and finds himself growing attached. Determined to take care of him like no one has done for himself, Jason sets out to raise the child on his own.

    It's a bit strange that the kid doesn't talk. A little stranger that he wields daggers and can see perfectly well in the dark. There's also the yellow eyes... and the inky lines etched into his skin... But Jason still loves his new little brother fiercely no matter how strange he is.
