Now Giorno tilts his head in a certain way and Mista notices the pull of the sinews in his neck, the muscled curve of it, the shadows that pool above his collarbones. Mista wants to drink him up, inhale him. Just being close to him isn’t enough.

If 16 year old Giorno had never picked up that specific book, if he would have chosen the one next to it, or any other book, he might have never flipped the page which held the Polaroid in place. It also could have not fallen out, or landed underneath the shelf. But the universe wanted Giorno to see that picture and it must have wanted to do so for a reason.
Giorno tries to find a man on a picture he used as a good luck charm for three years.
