Bruno didn’t remember his father.
That wasn’t really anyone’s fault (other than the people that killed him). That was just how it was.
He knew him through the stories that his mother told. He knew him through the little whisperings of the townsfolk. He knew him through the few pictures they had, through the portrait hanging in one of the stairwells in Casita.
But he never really knew him.
And that was fine. Yep. Totally and completely fine.
