   • once again eldergoblin has put me in the blender with her art so here we are
   • this time I drew connections between TWO of her arts and I was like yeah those were both on the same night
   • rumi has outlawed taking unnecessary hits
   • and yet when mira's down she takes a big hit for her

   • there is minimal blood but there are many many bruises that I took some liberties with

   Summary

   “Mira! I need help!” Zoey’s voice is crystal clear between the sound of whizzing shin-kals.

   Magenta flares through the Honmoon at Zoey’s very words. Just as Mira moves to respond, Zoey’s phone hangs up. She turns off the stove with the flick of her wrist, sliding toward the elevator with her socked feet. Before Mira can put on her shoes, Rumi appears in the hall in a cloud of magenta smoke.

   Mira has to stop and stare at Rumi for a moment. She’s wearing something she’d never be caught in outside a photoshoot. Mira loses her train of thought somewhere between the low V-neck, the black coat, her jewelry, and leather boots. Her mouth waters a little at the sight of Rumi, assisted by the smell of near-finished bulgogi wafting through the air.

   Mira almost forgets about their other girlfriend for a moment. Almost. (She knows Zoey wouldn’t blame her.)

   “Zoey,” Rumi says simply, holding out her hand to Mira. “She’s at the breach.”

   ---

   OR: Zoey goes out alone. Mira and Rumi come to the rescue.

   “It’s—” Rumi physically freezes. It looks like it takes her a moment to compute what Mira had said, then she finishes stiffly, “It’s what?”

   Mira’s never been one to lie; and, lo and behold, hashtag polytrix was indeed pressed up as number one on the social media app they’re staring at. Zoey glances down at the related hashtags trending with it: #ITSREAL #POLYTRIXONTOP #RUMIONBOTTOM #HUNTR/XGIRLS #TOTHEGAYWORLD

   Or, Mira, Rumi, and Zoey get caught in the middle of their fans' shipping war—but maybe one ship in particular has more substance than the others.
