“Oh yeah, Bokuto-chan this is Akaashi, my best friend” Akaashi rolled his eyes,
“One of many” he held his hand out to Bokuto who still looked star struck. The other man realized what was happening and put his hand out to shake Akaashis, his hand was bigger then Akaashis, calloused, and Akaashis was more slim and smooth.
“Bokuto” he said.
“Uh yeah I heard” Akaashi smiled, pulling his hand away, it felt tingly. Bokuto nodded awkwardly,
“Right” it was silent for a bit, Bokuto and Akaashi stared at each other, Akaashi finally breaking the eye contact by looking down and fidgeting with his hands.

“Sakusa Kiyoomi,” Grunts Sakusa. He still hasn’t shaken Atsumu’s hand. Someone sniggers from his back, and Atsumu doesn’t need to turn around to recognize that it’s Osamu. Well, fine. He started with the whole being an asshole thing, now he has an excuse. He relents and lets his hand drop.

Atsumu already has a lot on his plate, like killing people, beating up people, the same ol' drill. The last thing he needs is to be partnered with a germaphobe asshole who refuses to shake his hand. Summary
"He waits for you"
Yes, Akaaahi Keiji did have weird dreams every now and then that seemed always connected. Yes, He did always feel like he was a little hollow througout his life, like something was missing. Yes, something made him choose to enroll to Fukurodani Highschool. Yes, something led him to go to the Gym that very day.
He could recognize him by touch, by smell, by sight, how he moved, even when life is nothing but a figment to him. He knew him, even when he didn't.
Yes, he found Bokuto Koutarou, his Aristos Achaion.
Or
Akaashi and Bokuto are the two souls of that particular tragic couple remembered throughout Greek mythology, and found themselves teammates on a volleyball team.

Summary
Volleyball is a dangerous sport after all, the occasional injury is unavoidable. No big deal, right?
Alternatively: some of my favourite volleyball players are a little too hardcore on the field and chaos ensues as they collapse.

Ushijima must have thought he was really losing it, because suddenly Tendou found himself actually lifted in the arms of their highly valued starplayer.

Before he knew it, Kenma had faceplanted straight to the floor.
Finally, he thought just as everything went black, finally he could get some rest.Akaashi
The dread caught up with him. Finally, his legs started moving.
A loud, panicked “AKAASHI!” boomed across the gym.
Eight seconds. it had taken him EIGHT seconds to rush to his setter’s side.
Bokuto had been eight seconds too late.
Atsumu
No one was particularly surprised, when the eccentric blonde ran after the ball, crossed the sidelines, jumped, and gave a perfect set in mid-air.What Atsumu hadn’t considered was how or where he’d land.
