Summary
“Oikawa,” Iwaizumi says, and when Tooru looks at him, he can read My best friend’s an idiot off the crease of his eyebrows. “Are you telling me you spent the last three years weirdly obsessed with Kageyama – I still remember the time you made us play him on a dumb whim, you know – and now you’re at his beck and call? Are you okay? What the hell is wrong with you?”
“I’m— I’m not at his beck and call! I said no last week. It’s… It’s like you said. I get bored easily. I saw him at the park a couple weeks after they played Nationals and called him a perfect little tyrant, and he pestered me into spending time with him after,” Tooru says. “I’m not a monster, Iwa-chan. If he wants the company of his cool, handsome ex-upperclassman that badly, who am I to begrudge him?”
Or: Oikawa doesn't know why Kageyama keeps asking to meet him on Saturdays. He also doesn't know why he keeps saying yes.

I adore them so much. It’s really comforting, that they figure out there for feelings so early. The actual execution can wait as long as they know.

Summary
Soulmates are chosen by the spirits and can hear each other’s thoughts. Sokka thinks it’s cheesy and dumb. Zuko thinks it’s poetic justice that he doesn’t have one because he doesn’t deserve it. Cruel irony is finding out that the prince of the Fire Nation (and the person currently hunting you) is your soulmate.
(Set during and after the events of ATLA, and during some of the events of the comics that follow. This was an excuse to write a slow-burn where Sokka and Zuko are soulmates)

Summary
Mingyu's always trusted that Jeonghan could take care of himself — he’s older, he’s the hyung. More importantly he’s inscrutable, like trying to look through one of those mirrors that’s really a window. When you talk to Jeonghan you get your own self reflected back.

Summary
What starts as a way to gather intelligence on the strongest Hidden Village spirals rapidly out of control and somehow the Chunin Exam Finals have become an impromptu Kage Summit.
Then the army of Missing-nin attacked.
After that there were the zombies.
Followed by the angry gods.
The Kage would like to go back to their own Villages now please. At least there the only people trying to kill them were their own shinobi.

Summary
Roy isn't a liar – he's a storyteller, and a good one. Admittedly, sometimes it's hard to tell the difference. Sometimes, omission is the better part of valor, and embellishment is all he's got.

I circle back to this one every other year and every time I love it.
Soulmates, sharing of pain, Roy’s self flagellation. All of it.
