There are very few things that Hermione Granger finds more irritating (irksome, frustrating, infuriating) than when she cannot find the answer to her question in a library. And she looks, oh yes. After the fourth-year puberty and sex education lectures she looks desperately for more information.
Every source indicates that it is normal for a young witch of a certain age to begin experiencing sexual feelings, including a desire to engage sexually with other witches or wizards, and assorted physical phenomena including but not limited to sexual fantasies and physical arousal.
And yet — she doesn’t.
Hermione has never felt more lost.
