Based on a story from "Poirot Investigates", entitled "Star of The West". It's an aftermath of Hastings' argument with Poirot. The title is inspired by one of Pirot's more well known quotes, that comes from "Star of The West". The story itself elicted strong emotions in me while I was reading it and it was the first time, that I wanted to write a continuation of a official Poirot story. -
