Summary
The second time Akutagawa encountered the tiger it was a full moon night, the imposing figure of the beast standing tall and proud atop of a warehouse, the moon behind its back, its fur shining under the pale light, as well as it's sunset eyes. For a moment, Akutagawa forgot why he was here, lost in the image in front of him, that looked out of one of his favorite Chinese tales.

What are you counting?” Atsushi whispers, unable to find his voice in the maddening jumble of thoughts rushing through his mind.
The small smile that grows on Akutagawa’s face is shy, but he doesn’t relinquish the eye contact that they are trapped in. His free hand settles against Atsushi’s face, brushing his fingers through a few stray bangs. He thumbs Atsushi’s cheekbone, pulling at the redness and the warmth splayed across it.
“Nothing important,” Akutagawa mumbles.
