Summary
The wastes feel different now.
Before, they felt strange and twisted, a nightmarish contradiction to the rules and comfort of Vault 33. Now, she’s grateful for their blunt honesty.
The saccharine bullshit of the vaults makes her want to vomit. Or hurt somebody.
She keeps hoping that she’ll feel disgusted at herself for wanting to solve her problems with violence, but all she feels is something simmering in her chest that feels a whole lot less like self reproach and a whole lot more like righteous, dangerous indignation.
