Summary
Niki Shiina has a great life as a chef in his fathers restaurant and loves his coworkers. When a new waiter is hired and put on the team, Niki had high hopes, if it wasn't for their terrible first impression. The guy was a real pain in the neck but took an unusual liking to Niki. He wasn't too fond of the man, but he was weird. Something was up and he was always on the phone. In all, Niki was curious and wanted to get to know the man and get behind that curtain of ego blinding him. Not knowing that this guy was a walking mystery and he wasn't budging too easily.
Until that ego was bruised and he found out just a little bit of his background. Somehow, that made him ten times more mysterious and Niki was seriously fed up.

She hoped he couldn't tell how her face flushed at the complement she had heard from countless others. Coming out of his mouth though, it only made it a little better to hear. She couldn't help but grin and shake her head. “Aww, you flatter me! I'm sure it would get annoying to you after a while though.”

The weirdest part had yet to begin.
It took him a while to realize it, but after hearing Rui constantly compliment and praise him, Tsukasa began to wonder. His mind racked through the number of possibilities as to why he would say the things he does. In the end, he narrowed it down to one thing:
Was he flirting?
After a few days of letting it linger in the back of his mind, he really began suspecting that maybe, just maybe, he is.
And it only took three incidents before he drew his final conclusion.
Or...
3 times Tsukasa thought Rui was flirting with him + 1 time he did something about it.

Little did he know that Rui wasn’t going to turn down the opportunity for an indirect kiss. He took it gleefully and grinned at him, giving his thanks as he uncapped the bottle and put it to his lips.
“You know…” He started before taking a drink, allowing the liquid to run down his throat and give him a sense of relief. He took the bottle from his mouth and put the lid back on. “The more you act so sweet to me, the more I just might kiss you for real.”

Summary
A world where people with "superhuman powers" aren't considered normal and instead considered dangers to society are either handed over to, or taken into custody, by the government, who facilitates these said people to "run tests" on them and eventually release them once they're deemed 'safe for society'...or so the government claims. What people haven't seemed to realize is how most who are taken are never heard from nor seen again for unknown reasons. Because of this, most people with powers (who have yet to be captured) have gone on the run to escape their fate out of fear.
While a group of friends with superhuman powers flee from the government, they come across an abandoned house away from the city and decide to stay there for shelter. While taking their stay in the house, a girl shows up at their doorstep with an offer they can't refuse. She shows them a reality they never knew existed with people who are also on the run, just like them.

That way, no more people have to be in the vicinity of the failure known as Rui Kamishiro.
