"Take a seat” he motioned to an armchair opposite to him. “You’re worrying me. Do you need something, love?”
She sat down and studied him. The way he had his legs sprawled on the emerald velvet, the way he played with the ice on his whisky tumbler, the way his eyes shone in the candlelit room. She wanted him and wanted this, so she just took a deep breath and answered:
“Actually, there is something I need.”
“Don’t be shy then, you know you can count on me for everything.”
She couldn’t help but to chuckle.
“That’s the problem, though. I know I do. And I know you would never judge me, but this time I think I might be asking for a bit too much.”-
In which Hermione knows her days are counted and she doesn't want to embark on a suicidal mission without knowing if she was able to feel pure and unadulterated pleasure.
