Summary
Midoriya Izuku is maybe just a bit traumatized. Or a lot. Depends on who you ask. Izuku always has at least a few nightmares, but recently, he’s been having dreams of when he ran away from UA in hopes of protecting his loved ones—the way he’d gone into survival mode. Most of the time when he had these dreams, he remembered Tenko and that made him recall saving the world, which, in turn, woke him up rather quickly.
This time is different. He has to run away or he knows he’ll explode.
He packs his bag and runs off to get hurt and endanger himself for a few days.
When he sees news of a villain nearby tormenting civilians, he can finally put good use to the pent up emotions.
Or: Post-war Midoriya has a bad nightmare and, in a fit of trauma induced terror, runs away for a bit to kick ass—or something like that. Oh, and comfort, I guess.
