Summary
The Japanese Empire does not have a clean war record.
During WW2, the country of Indu is traded hands from their previous colonist of Anglo, to the Japanese. Tomioka Giyuu, a local of this nation watches as the fires burn the country he had called home for his entire life. As it burns, he is given a choice to join the Demonslayer corps in order to protect himself and those he loves. He grapples with love for the people he left, and loyalty to the Demonslayer cause.
When a new Pillar enters the corps, he interests those around him. He is quiet and he keeps to himself. He looks…odd, but does his job well. Kocho Shinobu is one of those curious about the man who seems so different from the rest of them. He holds secrets, and she wanted to dissect them out of him one by one.
