To the world, Nadiyah Rose Evans was a woman of many things. A decorated astrophysicist, published author, former aerospace engineer at SpaceX, on again off again professor at San Diego State University, an only child, dog lover, anime watcher, and an avid fan of tacos.
But for all of the glowing accolades she has, Nadiyah had a side of her that she wasn’t too keen to show many people. A face she wasn’t fond of but couldn’t separate with no matter how many times she reinvited herself.
Nadiyah was a brat.

Someone cleared their throat, cutting off Jasmine’s rant and Simone looked up to find Bucky standing in her bedroom doorway. She sat up from where she was reclined, panic and embarrassment seizing her while she wondered just how much he had heard. And then Jasmine’s voice broke through her panic as she continued.
“So before you get too desperate, maybe get some casual dick from your Hot Landlord-.”
“JAZ, I WILL CALL YOU BACK,” Simone said loudly over her talking, hoping to block out anything Bucky might hear and hanging up.
OrCareer driven Simone finds herself alone in New York far from family and friends working at a tech company for Steve Rogers and living in a building owned by James "Bucky" Barnes and somehow gets caught up in both.
