There’s no scorn, no disgust, but there’s no warmth either. None of the reassurance he’d apparently been hoping for, and God, isn’t that a little pathetic?
Sakura looks at his hands again. His skin is a mess. It’s all red and white and he thinks there’s purple crescents blooming from where he almost tore his flesh open with his nails.
