Every Side has the ability to be of great use or distress to Thomas and Virgil has always tried to carefully walk that line despite others trying to push him into one way or another, but when he starts displaying powers he shouldn't have it becomes harder to remain neutral, and his feelings for a certain prince aren't helping. Quaxo and Victoria are settling into the Junkyard after being brought to safety by Bustopher Jones several months ago. They've had their first Jellicle Ball, and are looking forwards to the next one.
But while Victoria is settled and happy with her new friends amongst the kittens, Quaxo is less sure of his place. He can't allow himself to become a liability. So having a crush on the Rum Tum Tugger is just the worst. Too bad that his means of protecting himself from Tugger's attentions are only increasing them.
Tugger just wants to have a conversation with the interesting cat without being left with his jaw on the floor, thanks.
