    Ruby Rose was as pretty as a flower and just as lovely. She was bright cheerful, optimistic, and a joy to be around.

    One day, a tragedy struck the island she called home. A storm that brewed with from above and attacked her home with its endless rain. The storm threatened to uproot everything in its path. However, despite all odds, Ruby endured. The rain seemed to never end, but she kept standing tall and let the storm run its course. In the end she prevailed, standing proud and bright once more.

    In celebration she turned to the world she knew, only to see her world had changed. The bright loving sun had hidden behind the clouds, the warm breeze and became cold and chilling, and the once comforting shade had turned dark and haunting.

    She tried to reach towards the sun, but her stem was aching and sore. She tried to stretch her leaves, but they were lost to the winds. She tried to gather sunlight, but the shadows wouldn't let her. Then she tried a risky move. She tried to bloom early. But in her haste for her world's affection, she forgot her petals were weak and torn. By the time the world had finally opened back up to her, it was already too late.

    That once precious rose had already withered.

    Eliza snuck out of the merchant house while Elliot went on an expedition to the North to go on a picnic date with Stiorra at their secret spot. There was a sudden change of plans, but it was still fun nonetheless. Though it does make you wonder why Eliza walks very weirdly the day after.

    A fic that (not in canon) tells you what happened to Eliza and Stiorra during Episode 17! Just my delusional ass writing its fantasies hehe
