Summary
You're a first-class engineer aboard the 38th SEEDS ship in the Earth sector 1 fleet. Life is pretty routine, every 50 years the ship wakes you up to perform routine maintenance and check the plant systems. You read a book or two, you eat some gross space food, then you sleep until your next checkpoint. All straightforward, all as planned.
What's not in the plan is oversleeping by about 180 years and waking up in the arms of some blonde haired, dusty looking gunslinger. What's also not in the plan is starting new life on some crappy desert planet with sand constantly in your shoes. Falling in love with the aforementioned gunslinger could be negotiated as part of the plan, but it is DEFINITELY not the priority... right?

Summary
Kirishima moves out into the mountainous region of japan to take care of his recently widowed and elderly grandmother. Her house, although charming and spacious, holds more than a few troubles for Kirishima; namely, an anger-prone fox who may or may not be the most handsome Kitsune that he has ever met. Not that he's met very many Kitsunes, just that this one is particularly endearing in his own firey way and that he may or may not be falling head over heels for him.

Blinking slowly, he refocused on her face, meeting her curious eyes. They had never stayed together after their bloody reunions, and as such he had never been forced to speak with her at length. Much to his surprise, her question didn’t bother him as much as it usually would; she didn’t strike him to be like normal people who were often uncomfortable with silence. They’d traveled with hardly a word passed between them to this point, so he felt the huntress had earned her question.
“You,” he answered simply. In the dim firelight, he could vaguely make out a change in her complexion, and he tilted his head slightly in interest.
