Summary
With her dying breath, Theresa prayed for the Doctor to be free of the ghosts that kept haunting him. For him to see the world through his own eyes, no longer hidden behind the dark and murky lens that his past represented.
Her prayer was answered, albeit as fate would often have it, people’s wishes were seldom granted without some caveats to them.
Some ghosts, after all, could never truly be exorcised.
