Summary
The group were from some country in the south called Slovenia and had come to Finland for the snowboarding but their flight back home had been cancelled due to the weather. They were stranded for a few more days, stranded until after Christmas. None of them spoke more than a few phrases of the native language but everyone got by with limited English.
