Jeongguk sighs into his coffee vapour, torn between offering comfort and seeking it, "The same way it makes you feel I suppose..."
"It doesn't make me feel like anything."
Who does he think he's lying to?
"Hyung, it's 2 am and you've called me to this weird decrepit coffee shop and you barely know me. It looks like you haven't slept in weeks, and you have worn your t-shirt inside out."
Taehyung looks away like he hates being reminded that he is a liar.
"The truth is I suppose," Jeongguk finally utters, and someone has to, "I am his after, you were his before, but he is your all-the-fucking-time, isn't he?"
In which Jeongguk and Taehyung are the unlikely survivors of a heartbreak.
