Summary
Sex has always been difficult to enjoy for Alastor, continuously guarding his secrets and plotting against his rare lover to avoid risks. When he finally finds sex as something to be enjoyed rather than means to an end, he discovers a new challenge to privately panic about. If only the sex wasn’t so good he might have kept away from Lucifer.

Summary
Lucifer would be the first to admit he wasn’t sure if his fantasy of eating dinner with Alastor would pan out. Copious amounts of sex interspersed with drama didn’t mean the more mundane moments would be a good time and as much as he’d hoped and dreamed it would go well, it was still a relief to be proven right.

By the first occasion Lucifer was woken in the middle of the night by Alastor, it’d been some time since someone else’s nightmare woke him and Alastor was only the second person to ever have done so.
That he did it twice in as many weeks did not speak kind things about Alastor and sleep.

Lucifer didn’t exactly have what could be called an immune system, every part of him was made up of the same angelic grace as his powers and anything out there strong enough to affect him physically for longer than it took to immediately begin to heal was already in another league than your basic shot of whiskey.
Which was to say, he really needed to find out what the hell was in that drink Angel gave him.
