    And it’s where Zenitsu is right now, following the trail laid by Tanjirou as he allows his thoughts to drift. Remembering all that’d brought him here. Why was he brought here? For the higher gods to look down on him, go through all that suffering again and laugh as they pointed at his foolishness? For him to make a change in the world of demon and hunter? What, exactly, did the gods envision him doing for them?

    There’s no point in overthinking it. All he knows is his name, his memories of a life once lived, and the katana skills smacked into his body from a young age, embedded into his very existence as Agatsuma Zenitsu.

    Or: Agatsuma Zenitsu travels through time, does some stuff here and there, and somehow becomes a legend amongst the Demon Slayer Corps. In that specific order.
