Summary
Amy Rose was thrust into a war when she was too young, forced to grow up in the midst of devastation. The only thing that was a bright light when the rest of her life was rather gray was Sonic himself. Though, now the fight for their life is over– what’s next? Faced with the sudden realization that Amy Rose doesn’t know who she is without the constant threat on her life and without her (rather unhealthy) obsession with Sonic, she embarks on the journey of changing the course of her life, including changing her identity.
TLDR: Amy Rose was tired of how she was seen by her peers in her home town, so she leaves at the first chance she gets to a college in a big city across the continent to reinvent herself and start a new chapter of her life. It was going well, until she got pulled into a bigger conspiracy brewing under the glittering streets of Empire City.
