In December, it was announced that the Diamond of last season, Young Lady Lin An, has been engaged to Young Lord Song Lan of Bai Xue Manor. As the Young Lord Song turned two-and-twenty this year, he is set to inherit the Song Manor and take over the role as head of house. It is only fitting that a marriage will finalize this.
From what I have witnessed, I wonder if there is a reason for Young Lord Song's melancholy as of late. I wonder if he perhaps is hiding more than we know.

quietly devastated that this author orphaned all their works (i get it tho) so bookmarking to not lose this one !!!! xxx - first read this at like 2am in rural oregon lol - anyways, exes to lovers will always be an absolute fav of mine and it suits these two so! well!! this (and all of the author's other works) are absolute masterpieces and i am deeply grateful for orphaning over deletion omg -
