This was torture. Lan Xichen was torturing him. He really had been scheming all this time, Jiang Cheng decided, scheming to torture him with perverted and shameless fantasies until he went mad from sleep deprivation.
Well that fucker had another thing coming. This marked the third day since his last visit to the Cloud Recesses. Four more days. Then he’d return for their standing appointment.
Either to fuck Lan Xichen or kill him. He’d decide when he got there.
He lifted his head enough to finish the wine, dropped it back on the table, then hiccuped.

When Jiang Cheng sobered up, he realized his fuck or kill plan was insane. Obviously he couldn’t do either of those things, no matter how much he wanted to—not that he wanted to fuck Lan Xichen. He didn’t. Obviously. That had been the wine talking.

(or: A very dense Jiang Cheng misinterprets Lan Xichen’s painfully subtle proposal of courtship by convincing himself that Lan Xichen must be plotting something nefarious. (Why else would he waste his time drinking tea and taking strolls with a bad-tempered, bullheaded asshole he barely knows??))

Summary
Fortune turns away from the Straw Hat Pirates and then all the Straw Hats die one by one, and the life of those left turns to hell. Zoro's death overtakes him in the arms of his beloved omega, and then the great swordsman decides for himself that if there is a god, then he must allow him to come back and correct all the mistakes that caused their such a sad end. Imagine his surprise when he opens his eyes and instead of the horror of hell, he sees Nami, Luffy and Usopp on the Gold Mary.
They don’t yet know all those losses and all that pain, and Roronoa decides for himself that they will never know.
For complete happiness, all that remains is to convince the obstinate Sanji that Zoro is the best candidate for alpha.
AU in which, after Zoro's death, he goes back ten years and is no longer going to lie to himself. He loves Sanji and is going to win his favor at any cost.

Summary
Sanji doesn't understand why Zoro won't join his nests like the rest of the crew and after too many failed attempts that leave his omega instincts frazzled, he decides to skip his usual bout of nesting. Sanji goes to a heat hotel and hires a heat aid. It's there that he learns that alphas are indeed dumb as bricks and need everything spelled out for them. After some helpful advice from the madam of the business, of course.
Both Sanji and Zoro try to figure out how to make themselves clear in their actions. Emotions are tricky. Especially when you, yourself, aren't certain.
When things finally start looking up for Sanji and Zoro, the crew dock at an island that is extremely friendly to all of them. All except Sanji. And the story they hear from the locals definitely doesn't add up. The crew agrees, something shady has to be going on in the shadows.
