Summary
To say Childe felt like someone had punched him in the gut repeatedly for three hours straight sounded like an understatement for where he was standing. He had given this man his heart, his mangled and thawed over heart and Zhongli had accepted. Zhongli had held his palm open and it melted in his warmth. Childe thought he had been given Zhongli's heart in return but now he was starting to believe that it might have just been some cheap trick to keep his activity under surveillance.
