Summary
He kind of thought it would improve with time — with more sex with Marinette. He loves her so much, and he wants to be able to be there for her fully. He knows that she wants it, too, even if she’s insistent that everything between them is fine. She doesn’t even seem to mind how in his head he can get about everything. She’s been nothing but kind and patient.
But he still knows that he can do better. Be better. For her.

Summary
“Adrien? It’s late, are you okay?”
His stomach twists. Because it’s not late, not really. Not for Marinette, who he knows will be up until the wee hours of the morning, even if it’s one of those nights where she swears she’s going to bed early.
He knows her. And so he knows what she really means.
It’s too late for him to be calling her.

Summary
“Can’t sleep.”
He breathes in, breathes out. She imagines him closing his eyes again.
“I can.”
With a pout he can't see, she nudges his leg and lets out a grumpy hum. His only response is to throw an arm around her and try to bring her even closer.
“Shh…” he tries. “Sleepy time.”
“Not sleepy,” she insists, though she enjoys being enveloped in his warmth. She manages to get her hand out, bringing it back to his hair to play with it again — not as lightly, just as gently.
He doesn’t say anything, but he doesn’t stop her either, and even more awake, even more jittery, mischievously, she says, “Sex would make me sleepy.”

“You do have a girlfriend, don’t you?”
“As if anyone could resist my charm,” he says.
It’s worth it for the flat look she gives him. It’s kind of funny; Marinette sometimes gives him the same look.
He has a type.
