Summary
This first part of HRWB is all about setting a ton of stuff up for future parts, so like what everyones deal is, getting arcs sorted, me getting into the swing of writing, etc. I will admit the first two and half chapters are pretty vanilla BUT past that I start doing my own thing. There IS some important stuff in the first two chapters, and if you want a longer read, go for it. Otherwise, I hope you enjoy!
Also, because most of HRWB was thought of and (kind-of) planned out BEFORE Deltarune Chapters 3 and 4, anything new introduced in the game probably won't turn up in HRWB, unless it doesn't clash with anything (like how the church looks).

Summary
Dess and Asriel are seasoned explorers of Dark Worlds, having traveled through a lot of places and having sealed a lot of fountains. They both know Darkners are mundane objects given life by shadow and Darkness and they both know that a Darkner can be imbued with the image of a Lightner, if under the right circumstances. So, one late evening, Dess is struck with an idea, and decides to rope in Asriel along with her.

He does healing spells, he cooks with a cauldron and he takes the pacifistic approach above all else (though maybe not if it gets in the way of the Prophecy, but I guess we’ll see after tomorrow). But... What if the fluffy Prince’s paw was forced, where pacifism is of no use...?
