Summary
Na pequena e isolada cidade de Jericho, Enid se muda para um apartamento modesto após ingressar na faculdade de Nevermore para estudar Jornalismo. Lá, ela conhece Wednesday - estudante de Letras, sombria e fria -, e as duas não se dão bem, apesar da atração mútua. Quando um circo chega à cidade de Jericho, coisas estranhas passam a acontecer: pessoas começam a desaparecer, medos se materializam e segredos antigos ressurgem, fazendo com que Wednesday e Enid sejam arrastadas para um conflito ancestral. Enid accidentally summons a malevolent spirit in an attempt to communicate with her wolf, and somehow – that is not Wednesday’s biggest problem upon the return to Nevermore. With a raging suspicion that Principal Weems was not actually murdered and decades-old conspiracies about Outcasts beginning to come to light, Wednesday starts to unravel her latest mystery while trying not to come undone herself. As emerging powers cause her to manifest physical symptoms, Wednesday has to learn to rely on those around her if she is going to grow as a Raven.Wednesday-centric, ultra slow-burn Wenclair, moving forward in an organic relationship, building from roommates to best friends to more. Picking up on plot points from S1 with some canon divergence, Wednesday develops not only new abilities, but emotions and friendships as she examines her life through her new lens of Nevermore.
