Minjeong caught sight of her, in her uniform of the color of the stormy sea, her midnight blue hair swinging from left to right, and felt the invisible lines tugging her towards her. Even if Minjeong was blind to her own fate, she already knew that being a Ranger, her death would arrive in the shape of waves and the taste of salt. She just didn't expect it to take the form of Jimin.

Summary
The radio plays lowly as Chaewon drives, her soft hums lulling Sooyoung into a false sense of security. “Do you want to tell me what happened?”
If she were sober, Sooyoung would simply say no. She would take this secret, and all the other things she’s been holding close to her chest, to the grave. But she isn’t sober, and Chaewon has always been nice to her, right? Even when she’s a little mean about it, even when Sooyoung forgets to be nice in return. She can trust her with this secret, just this one.
“I fucked Chaeyeon’s little sister.”
To her credit, Chaewon doesn’t crash them into a light post. The car comes to a hard stop at a red light before she twists in her seat to look Sooyoung in the eye. “You slept with Shin Ryujin’s girlfriend?”
