Compilation of oneshots set in the same fantasy au for DenNor Week 2022.
The capital is home to many healers, yet Eirik is the only one who does not care where his patients come from, nor at what time they knock at his door. The capital is also home to many guards. Mathias is one of only a select few that make up the Queen's Guard. With their working hours long and ever-changing, the sparse moments they can actually spend together are all the more precious.
Day 2 - Home: Teenage Eirik often sneaks out to the sewers, much to his entire household's disapproval. This time, he decides to ask his friend Mathias if he wants to accompany him.

Summary
Mathias isn't sure why he's decided to spend Christmas in the mountains, alone during the festive period for the first time in years. Perhaps it's because he still yearns for Sigve, the childhood sweetheart adulthood took from him.
