Killdroid takes into his own hands a criminal case the goverment hasn't been able to capture yet. Being rogue and defying those people doesn't mean he doesn't have an eye for justice, even if that justice looks like an obsession to anybody else.
He took refuge in a abandoned 'happy home' after he went rogue since he was gonna need a somewhat permanent place to stay if he wanted to actually catch this damn criminal, at least somewhere to put his evidence.
(Warninggg he gets kinda weird about it towards the end, like freaky weird, nothing explicit but like still)

Badware invited Killdroid to his place for whatever reason. He isn't supposed to be anywhere else besides his post over at the military base after he's done killing civilians but he managed to convince his superiors that this was a patrol over the comunities they keep sending it to terrorize.
