Summary
“You don’t have to come if you don’t want to,” she says, as they sit on her back porch. It’s a surprisingly good day, and he’s glad he came to visit her on the one nice day that week. “But there are a lot of people there who would love to meet you. Don’t you think, you two?”
She’s babysitting two of her grandkids that day, ten year old Hudson and three year old Lula. Lula doesn’t look up from the doll that she’s sprinkling grass clippings over, but Hudson drags his eyes from his Nintendo long enough to say, “You should come, Uncle Steve, it’s lots of fun. Auntie Ruth is good at cooking things.”
About six weeks after reintegrating to society, Steve Rogers is invited by one of Bucky's sisters to the (now very large) Barnes family's Christmas party.

“He’s not a child, John, he’s a baby.” Sherlock frowned at his blogger, confusion gracing his handsome features. “Does it matter that he’s also a scarf?”
“Well... if he’s a baby, he must have parents. Who do you suppose they are?”
“Not sure about parents parents, but my coat and Stephen’s cloak seem to have adopted him.”
John turned away, laughing, only to be yanked back by the scarf.

Summary
The Cloak of Levitation had chosen Stephen Strange.
But unknown to many, Sherlock Holmes’ Belstaff had chosen him as well.
Sherlock and Stephen’s meeting had been awkward, naturally, but sometimes you just have a doppelganger and there’s not much you can do about it.
But what had made Tony Stark and John Watson laugh even harder was that the Cloak had leapt from Stephen’s shoulders to latch on to Sherlock’s belstaff, who had perked up and had attempted to turn around in the Cloak’s grasp (the attempt had been futile with Sherlock’s arms in the way, but it was not for a lack of trying).
And that was the beginning of a great relationship.Series
