He was stuck on an isolated, gloomy beach hundreds of miles from the nearest civilization, feeling the absence of human presence like a dense fog. The sky roiled off of the horizon, darker than the rocks by the bank, its thunder distant, like everything else in the scene. The humidity of the beach was something foreign to him, as though he was stuck in the middle of a grounded cloud. Waves crashed over each other before him, sounding loudly in his ears, amplifying his solitude, raising his heart rate—
“Morrison!”
He snapped back to reality with an audible crack so loud he swore the droves of boys behind him could hear it.

It was 1983, and like any other 17 year old, Jack Morrison had very few things on his mind: surviving high school, maintaining the livelihood of his parents, a chronic level of performance anxiety, and a growing level of curiosity about the new kid in town. It was 1983 and Gabriel Reyes was lying half-dead on the floor from world's worst 'running start' to his new life. Ripped from his vibrant existence in Miami, adjusting to a quiet town where nothing ever happens is a recipe for disaster. Or it would have been, had a blond without an ounce of subtly made it home alright.

Summary
The past has a nasty habit of always coming back. For him, it never fails to take the shape of Jack Morrison. Gabriel has his own goals, his own grudges, fighting for years to bring them to fruition. He never realized all it took was one fist fight for it all to start crumbling. Maybe they could change, maybe they couldn't. Maybe he could let things go.
After a mission gone slightly wrong, Reaper finds himself confronted alone by Soldier: 76 and his newly christened partner, Bastet. He takes this opportunity to settle things once and for all. If only Jack had given up the habit of getting under his skin, and fucking everything up.

Once upon a time Naruto had held her fingers through her clan’s compound gates—until the guards had pried him loose and he had screamed her name into the night. Now, Sasuke stared at the man across their wedding chamber—her husband—his gaze fixed on the tatami’s weave as if meeting her eyes would turn him to stone.

Summary
It starts with a bad hair day and a night shift - and nurse Naruto, fueled by caffeine and instant ramen, trying to survive it. Then a new resident shows up: Dr. Uchiha Sasuke, brilliant, cold-eyed, and clearly not okay.
Sasuke is a depressed doctor, fighting his way back from addiction. Naruto is tired but trying to believe in care that goes deeper than protocol.
As with all my writing, this story carries a strong dose of social critique, inspired by my love for leftist literature and everyday resistance.
This story began as a one-shot written after a night shift but has grown into an ever-expanding alt-universe full of quiet intimacy, hospital politics, class tension, and queer tenderness.

Summary
