‘‘Go find some hoe to fuck around with and get lost!’’ Charles said angrily, shoving Max back towards the door of his hotel room. He gripped the shoulder of Max, trying to get him to leave before the Dutch pushed him off.
‘‘I don’t want some hoe!’’ Max yelled at him, tears welling up in his eyes. His breathing was unsteady, the sight of the more-than-angry Monegasque in front of him clearly not helping to stay calm.
‘‘I want you! Don’t you get that?’’

While Charles wants more from Max, the Dutch only pushes back. Max's realisation that Charles starts to think about himself for once comes a little late.

“So,” Charles starts after a few seconds of silence, during which Max is sort of blushing and Charles’ chest is feeling kind of weird. “Like fuck buddies?”
“Yeah,” The older man gives him a small smile. “You know, just agreeing that when we both feel like it, we can meet up and have sex. Without all the small talk and awkward walk of shame afterwards.”
That sounds like a bad idea. Really, really fucking bad.

Summary
Charles had been drifting in and out of the conversation for what felt like hours, his mind hazy and disoriented. The music thudded around him, vibrating through the floor and up into his bones, and all he could catch were fragments of Lando’s animated chatter. Something about the last race, or maybe plans for the weekend—it all blurred together. He blinked, trying to focus on Lando’s voice as it grew sharper, the background noise fading slightly. Lando was in front of him, gesturing wildly, while Oscar stood by his side, nodding along with an easy smile.
