Summary
Akaashi Keiji is a competitive figure skater, and has been his whole life. Ever since he could remember, he's always been pushed by everyone around him to be great. To never fail. To satisfy his mother's desire of him going to the Winter Olympics.
Everything was going fine for him, his routine at the rink with his friends running smoothly. Until one day, the University Hockey team was temporarily moved to his rink. Thanks to his meddling best friend, Akaashi is pushed into introducing himself to well-known hockey star Bokuto Koutarou. His attraction to the wild-eyed and kind-hearted man is almost instant.
Akaashi soon finds himself falling all to fast for his liking. Before he could catch himself, he was pushed out of his comfort zone and into worlds beyond. As his new relationship with Bokuto blossoms, he learns that his worth is so much more than his performance, and to accept the haunting truths in his life he's been running from for so long.

Eiji tipped his head upward. He stared longingly at the sky, like he wanted to bury his nose into those gloomy winter clouds. It didn't matter what kind of weather clouded the sky. This garden was his very own patch of atmosphere. The sun was up there somewhere. Watching over Eiji, wrapping him up in its warmth. Ash had to remind himself that big ball of gas would eventually be visible again. It wasn't ever actually gone, even in winter.
The gray parted then. The hole in the sky was no larger than a pinprick in an endless blanket of gloom. But even so, the light managed to escape the barrier. It raced through the sky and landed somewhere on the back of Ash's head, as if it were burying itself in his hair. Eiji only smiled at him.
"Something tells me that you think the word gone means gone forever."

He was so close to Akaashi now. Even though they slept in the same bed every night, something about this moment felt different. Something about how adorable his boyfriend looked in his accidental spell of sleep. Akaashi would almost never allow himself to indulge in a midday nap like this. Every time Bokuto suggested he took one, the brunette would quietly resist by finding some form of chore or work to do instead. "I'd rather take care of some work so you guys don't have to," he would always say. But now here he was. Bokuto never thought he'd be so happy to see someone take a nap.
It was just too adorable, and Bokuto could barely contain his excitement.
